A creamy, dairy-free twist on bubble tea, Almond Milk Boba Tea combines plant-based milk with chewy tapioca pearls and your favorite tea for a refreshing vegan indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cooked tapioca pearls
  • 1 cup brewed and chilled black or green tea
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 12 tbsp sweetener (simple syrup or brown sugar syrup)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Cook tapioca pearls according to package instructions. Soak in warm brown sugar syrup after cooking.
  2. Brew tea double strength and chill completely.
  3. In a tall glass, add the sweetened tapioca pearls.
  4. Add ice cubes over the pearls.
  5. Pour in the almond milk.
  6. Top with chilled tea, stir and enjoy.

Notes

Use barista-style almond milk for extra creaminess. Chill all components in advance for the best flavor contrast.
