Assam Milk Tea is where strength meets comfort—a creamy, robust beverage crafted from malty Indian black tea, balanced with your milk and sweetener of choice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp loose-leaf Assam tea (or 2 strong tea bags)
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 3/4 cup milk (whole, oat, soy, or coconut)
  • 12 tsp sweetener of choice

Instructions

  1. Brew the Assam tea in boiling water (200–212°F) for 3–5 minutes, depending on strength preference.
  2. Warm the milk gently on the stove or froth if desired.
  3. Pour brewed tea into a mug, add warm milk, and stir in sweetener.
  4. For iced: Brew a strong tea, pour over ice, then add cold milk and sweetener to taste.
  5. Optional: Garnish with cinnamon stick, nutmeg, or vanilla for added flair.

Notes

Use CTC Assam for bolder flavor. Oat or coconut milk adds unique depth. Sweeten with brown sugar or maple syrup for extra warmth.
