Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon loose-leaf Assam tea
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup full-fat milk (or preferred alternative)
  • Sweetener to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf Assam tea.
  3. Let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until deep amber in color.
  4. Add 3/4 cup of full-fat milk to the pan.
  5. Simmer again for another 3–4 minutes until rich and creamy brown.
  6. Strain the tea into a cup.
  7. Sweeten if desired and enjoy warm.

Notes

Adjust the tea-to-milk ratio to your liking. For a stronger brew, use more tea leaves or simmer longer. Try oat or almond milk for a dairy-free twist.
