Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 12 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea (or 12 tea bags)
  • ½ cup warm milk of choice
  • 12 teaspoons honey, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Steep your black tea in hot water (about 200°F) for 4–5 minutes, then remove tea leaves or bags.
  2. Stir in honey while the tea is still hot, until fully dissolved.
  3. Warm milk gently without boiling.
  4. Pour sweetened tea into a mug, add warm milk, and stir gently to combine. Serve hot.
  5. For iced version: brew tea concentrate with half water and steep 6–7 minutes. Stir in honey, chill thoroughly. Serve over ice with cold milk.

Notes

Adjust the tea strength, milk type, and honey variety to customize your ideal cup. Try oat milk for creaminess, Earl Grey for floral notes, or orange blossom honey for added depth.
